Controlled-pilot policy

Acceptable Use Policy

Counsel-review safeguards for lawful customer engagement, loyalty rewards, account access, and email use.

Owner-approved for the controlled pilot—attorney review pending. This policy is effective only when incorporated into a named participant's accepted pilot acknowledgment. It is not a public offer or final public-release policy.

Pilot eligibility

The controlled pilot is limited to U.S. businesses, authorized adult users, general adult audiences, and non-regulated industries. Health care, financial services, government, education involving minors, age-restricted goods, and other regulated businesses are excluded unless qualified compliance review and a written amendment expressly approve them.

Prohibited use

  • Spam, purchased or scraped lists, deceptive consent, ignored opt-outs, or messages to suppressed recipients.
  • Fraud, phishing, impersonation, credential sharing, payment abuse, or interference with security controls.
  • Illegal, harmful, harassing, discriminatory, exploitative, or rights-infringing content or activity.
  • Rewards, promotions, or messages prohibited by law, contract, payment-network rule, or industry restriction.
  • Scraping, unauthorized access, malware, excessive automated traffic, prohibited reverse engineering, or disruption of the service.
  • Submitting health or medical information, payment-card or financial-account data, government identifiers, information about minors, or other sensitive data not approved in writing.

Marketing limits

Businesses must use documented consent, truthful offers, accurate sender identity, valid contact details, and lawful frequency. SMS and phone marketing, minor-directed campaigns, sensitive profiling, and age-restricted promotional campaigns are not authorized. Email campaigns remain dormant unless Retrakor separately approves the business, audience, disclosure, sender, content, limits, and stop conditions.

Enforcement

Retrakor may investigate, limit sending, suppress recipients, disable links or QR destinations, suspend access, preserve evidence, or terminate service when reasonably necessary to protect recipients, the platform, or third parties. Retrakor will provide notice and a reasonable cure opportunity when practical, but may act immediately for nonpayment, security risk, unlawful activity, uncontrolled sending, fraud, or material harm. Appeals may be sent to support@notify.retrakor.com.
